El clima de Trinidad y Tobago: mares peligrosos.

The public is warned to exercise caution around Trinidad’s north coast and Tobago’s coastlines due to hazardous seas.

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service has issued a Yellow Level Hazardous Seas Alert warning of high energy swells:

‘North-easterly high energy swells are expected to impact nearshore areas along coastlines of Tobago and Northern coastlines of Trinidad. These swells can result in higher surfs and occasional battering waves.’

The warning was issued from 11pm Tuesday to 5pm Thursday.

The Met Office says all marine interests should carefully monitor the nearshore coastal sea conditions and exercise caution along affected areas.
